Public transportation
Our offices are situated in Kamppi, within a few minutes’ walk from Kamppi metro station and the Kamppi Shopping Center.
Car
Malminkatu is accessible by car from the direction of Runeberginkatu via the Salomonkatu roundabout. SFS has no visitor parking available, but there are parking spaces in Malminkatu.
By train
There is a fast and convenient train connection between the airport and Helsinki city centre. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Click here to read more about the commuter trains I and P.
By bus
A number of buses operate between Helsinki Airport and the city centre. Please check up-to-date information at the HSL website.
Train and bus tickets
To reach the city centre you will need a ticket for the zones ABC. Tickets can be purchased with the HSL mobile app or from:
- HSL ticket machines located at the bus terminal and on the railway station platform
- Alepa grocery store (T2 Arrival lobby 2B)
- WH Smith (many locations at the airport, see the map)
- R-kioski convenience store (T2 Arrival lobby 2A)
- the tourist information point (T2 Arrival lobby 2A)
Tickets cannot be purchased onboard public transportation.
By taxi
The taxi station at Helsinki Airport is located next to T2 Arrivals hall on floor 1. Taxis may also be found in front of T1. Read more about taxis at Helsinki Airport and the airport taxi partners.
Our library is accessible to individual visitors by appointment only. Please contact the library in advance by phone to arrange your visit or make alternative arrangements (+358 9 1499 3455).

SFS Customer Service
Our customer service is happy to assist you with any questions you may have concerning standards. You can ask about the latest versions of standards or the status of draft standards being developed, for example. We will find an answer to any question! SFS Information Service
Our Information Service can be reached by email. We are available also by phone on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Between 15.7. and 9.8. information service is only available by email.
