Lokakuun ensimmäisenä päivänä vietetään maassamme heijastinpäivää. Liikenneturvan lanseeraamaa päivä täyttää tänä vuonna 10 vuotta. Päivän vietolla halutaan muistuttaa, että iltojen pimetessä jalankulkijoiden on syytä käyttää heijastimia. CE-merkinnällä ja standardin numerolla valmistaja vakuuttaa, että heijastin täyttää sille EU-maissa asetetut vaatimukset. Kuluttajien on hyvä osata tarkistaa nämä tiedot tuotteen pakkauksesta ostopäätöstä tehdessään.
